NSA - No One's Safe Anywhere
Just when you thought the U.S. and it's super dark secret agency, the NSA, had no more dirty laundry to air comes this:
Offline computers, those not even connected to the internet, are able to be spied on by the NSA.
America is rapidly positioning itself in very lonesome corner. Our "allies" are already voicing very real concerns about the behavior of U.S. intelligence gathering. Who can blame them? What will the U.S. do when there is no longer any major country which will support America's wars on whatever seems popular at the moment?
Apparently a spokesperson for the NSA assured the New York Times that none of the "targets" were located in the U.S. Haven't we heard those types of statements before? Oh, that's right the U.S. is not spying on it's citizens via the NSA. Hah! From backdoor software holes and cellular phone eavesdropping to deliberately invading both online and off storage mediums, reading personal email and even reading mail sent through the U.S. Postal Service, the U.S. government is turning into corrupt spy machine to make sure, of among other things, the wealth of the planet remains controlled by the very few.
After all, wars on (fill in the blank) are designed to control resources and populations - in many cases markedly reducing certain populations. And, who can bring you more wars than the U.S.?
"Who Do You Trust" asked Johnny Carson. Unfortunately the answer is NOT the U.S.
