Spend Spend Spend
Over the past 70 years, during the 30's, 60's and 70's, Democrats have tried to spend to increase economic stimulus. IT HAS NEVER WORKED. Why? Simply put the money has to be taxed from someone and given to someone else. Net result is ZERO. All that is accomplished is to TRANSFER wealth from someone to someone else. And, presumably that someone else will vote for you or your party in the future.

That's right folks, you guessed it. The top 10% of the income producing tax payers pay 70% of all taxes. But as a percentage of total voters they are a very small number. What happens when that group begins to evaporate? You now must print money leading to inflation or hyper-inflation and a total road to ruin. Every dollar Congress spends must originate from somewhere else.

Job Jobs Jobs
Now that the ObamaCare package is terminal, at least in it's current condition, the presidents new focus is on jobs. Well well Mr. O., welcome to the real world - or the world leading up to the upcoming November elections and a double digit unemployment rate.
People who can't find work tend to vote and they tend to vote out the current sycophantic lackeys. Wonder why so many people are concerned with gainful private sector employment? I thought you'd never ask.

What is particularly troublesome is that the Goods Producing jobs, i.e. jobs that actually produce tangible items, include:
Less than a million workers in mining and logging
Approximately six million in construction
Approximately 12 million in manufacturing
But here's the good news. The Government Sector, which as we all know produces NOTHING, includes:
2.8 million Federal employees
20 million State and Local employees
Yeah Obama - that's what this country needs - more Government employees.
PEOPLE wake up!

Obama/Osama
Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has called for the world to boycott American goods and the U.S. dollar and to bring "the wheels of the American economy" to a halt. Wait a minute - isn't that the same thing President Obama is doing? Seems to have done a good job during his first year in office. Whats say we give him three more.

Philandering Pandering
From John Edwards to Tiger Woods, although the later has not fostered any illegitimate children that we know of, male public figures seem not to be able to contain their most base instincts. Marriage seems to be no longer considered a theological vow, although still considered a business binding contract and breaking that contract has legal consequences. This certainty must surely rile the likes of someone who has lined their pockets with gold by winning personal injury lawsuits - that and divorce law are the legal equivalent of proctology.
Presidential candidate - Athlete of the Year. These are the role models the media cannot get enough of? You have got to be kidding, oh but you aren't. What in the hell is going on? Are people now more concerned with texting while driving, sexting (a felony in many states), public urination (oh those sexual predators), verbal "hate" crimes than they are with public figures who constantly lie, misuse public funds (investigation still ongoing), give false testimony, mislead the public (their cash cow), break vows and exhibit other less than savory behavioral characteristics.
My how times have changed. If that's the change from our lives total capital -
you can keep it.

ObamaCare
Henry Ford hospital in
Detroit, MI

Detroit, MI
has the best commercials
for it's patients
People who are bedridden and cannot easily move from in front of their TV sets are being shown, with or without their consent, programming supporting and encouraging ObamaCare. No amount of public sentiment to the contrary, can stop the chosen one from shoving government sponsored health care down or in any orifice of the bedridden.
Behold the continuous brainwashing techniques so prevalent in the U.S. today.

iPad
To Ipad or not to iPad
The future of civilization has hit sunrise - in the form of the new and game changing product from Cupertino - the iPad. Now, ones and zeroes have taken on a whole new meaning. Said meaning is to enrich the few with the vision of Superman. So feast your eyes mere mortals.
Update 01/30/10
So far so not so good. Tech savvy folk are coming down on the side of what could have been and more importantly what needs to be. Lack of support for standards such as Adobe flash, easy access to external storage and data streaming, application muti-tasking and the continued corporate strategy of Apple to control all aspects of media consumption other than creation has created a general malaise.
On a more positive note - this same recipe, for all intents and purposes, follows the iPhone's careful evolution. And we all have seen that product's explosive growth.
