It had to happen sooner or later - given the fact that this country has been unable to educate it's citizens (legal citizens) for years. All hope is now officially lost as the DEA is pleading for help in deciphering Ebonics.
These linguistic "experts" will be tasked with helping this wonderful agency interpret the results of "telephonic monitoring of court ordered non-consenual intercepts (aren't those the kind that no longer require a warrant) and other media."
Further, to add insult to injury and no doubt to get this funded, Ebonics is now listed as one of the 114 languages for which prospective contractors must be able to provide linguists.
Is this a great country or what?
