Galactic Collision - No Insurance
In what is being described as one of the largest interstellar collisions ever recorded, the Antennae galaxies are duking it out with one another. The following image, a combination of info and data from: the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, the Hubble Space Telescope and the Spitzer Space Telescope, provide a glimpse into the likely future of our Milky Way colliding with the Andromeda Galaxy.
