German Reengineering

The easiest way to pretend something distasteful did not occur, is simply to remove any and all instances of it's occurrence. This practice is evident in books such as in Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn where all instances of the slang derogatory reference to Black people have been changed to "colored", to the editing of movies to remove both verbal and cinematic content to the re-writing of history as in the Holocaust having not happened.

The "Truth Be Damned" movement, like all other "progressive" social reengineering movements, knows no limitations and has now put its dirty slimey paws to one of America's most beloved families - The Simpsons. Yes folks - Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and the gang are about to change - at least in Germany - home of the Nazis. Wait, that never happened.

Seems the recent events in Japan have created a type of unexpected fallout. The German peoples sensibilities have been offended and "Ziest Moost Nien Huppen!" (Hey, why can't Sharky&Sharky rewrite the German language?)   Hence forth, Homer no longer screws up in Mr. Burns nuclear power plant. Producers at Germany's Pro7 TV channel have removed "unsuitable" content from future episodes which show trouble at the fictional power plant.

So on with the show.
