Muslims will be Muslims

Ray Davis who it is alleged to have shot Pakistani motorcyclists has just been released  The latest from the UK Telegraph reports that:

Davis was released this afternoon, however, after relatives of Faizan Haier and Faheem Shamshad appeared before a judge to confirm they had reached a dayyat agreement under Islamic law for the payment of 'blood money.’ The families had resisted a 'blood settlement’ for some weeks, under pressure from some of Pakistan’s Islamic political parties. But senior Pakistan government sources said direct talks between CIA and ISI chiefs, and the intervention of Saudi Arabia, had led to a breakthrough.

 In addition The AFP carried the story. The AFP added the twist that US was reneging on aid to Pakistan:

The United States postponed a round of high-level talks with Afghanistan and Pakistan following earlier failed attempts to get Davis out, and US lawmakers had threatened to cut payments to Pakistan until he was freed.

Probably means the Ms Clinton was insisting that Mr Davis be freed.

Now Sharky&Sharky can only say GFB (aka gimme a fucking break). Americans do not routinely go to another country and put a cap in two guys riding by on a motorcycle. However it appears that Mr. Davis does. On the right is a picture of the gun toting varmint "oops wrong picture".

they recovered a Glock pistol, four loaded magazines, a GPS navigation system and a small telescope from Davis' car after the shooting in a busy Lahore street.

Now why would Sharky&Sharky assert "Muslims will be Muslims". Let us run through this crime scene because you need a good Muslim imagination to pull this one off. Here is a Glock totting American, popping motorcyclists in Lahore traffic with a small telescope as gunsight, and using his GPS system not to get lost. Our US embassy says foul no trial; Mr Davis has diplomatic immunity. That does not stop the trial. They People want Justice. Ms Clinton says the US is going to stop aid payments to Pakistan. The squeeze is on. Then depending on your sources, a little money must be given to the berefts (what's the plural of bereft) AFP says $2M (that is US $ in millions) the Telegraph says $10M. Sharky&Sharky can only say that we hope the berefts are feeling at peace. GFB
