General Pickett Obama Leads US to Annihilation

Aristotle makes it clear that purpose of good government is to provide an environment in which the citizen can become the best that he can be, that he can envision, and that he can achieve, namely the fulfillment of his reason. This opposite of enslavement.  Looking at Obama's administration and the current Congress, both chambers, on is reminded of futility of Pickett's charge. We are being lead not to fulfillment but to death.

In the Discourse on Livy, Machiavelli states that the removal of weapons from its citizens ensures the short life of a republic. Sharky&Sharky add to Machiavelli by stating that the removal of money and wealth from the republic's citizens ensures the collapse of liberty into statism. This wealth can be removed by taxation and devaluing the monetary system.

Make no mistake in interpretation! We are under the command of General Pickett Obama. We are led by a madman who is informed by a conflated Ghetto mentality of not repaying debts while incurring new deficits month after month is a good. This was the way he was raised. However he is only the most latest and most expensive in a long line of US leaders who believe that destroying the republic's private wealth is the path to social justice.

Both Houses of Congress refuse to admit that none of their plans or proposals being ping-ponged from chamber to chamber will reduce the deficit or the debt. All the while, the General presses us, the citizens, forward to dismemberment, enslavement, and annihilation. We are becoming entangled in a ever-tightening web of statism, which chokes off liberty. None of the Congress' budget proposals address the automatic 7%baseline increments that ensure that the government's budget goes up every year by law. This makes it very hard to understand the Reid or Boehner's cuts. Are they talking about cuts to the baseline increments required by law or a reduction to actual monies received year after year? Sharky&Sharky have no doubt that the cuts if there are any at all are applied after the automatic projected baseline increments. Read Rush on this topic.

The entities that speak for liberty such as the Tea Party, or Michelle Bachman, or Paul Ryan or Rand Paul are all ridiculed. A proposed solution that will keep us free such as  Cut, Cap, and Balance from Congressman Jim Jordan et al. is declared DOA by Harry Reid.  Why? It will lead to freedom with a Constitution Amendment that requires that the US Government balance its budget, thereby freeing the citizentry from the choking web of statism.

Another approach is Connie Mack's Penny Plan. This plan says that within 8 years not 15 or 20 plus years the web of statism will be broken:

1. Cutting total federal spending by one percent each year for six consecutive years,
2. Setting an overall spending cap of 18 percent of gross domestic product in 2018, and
3. Reducing overall spending by $7.5 trillion over 10 years

Citizens must rebel against General Pickett Obama and cry out against the enslavement that results from financial ruin which will inescapably leads to the death of our vivere libero.

NAGS Nag Saudi Arabia

The National Association of Gals, hiding behind the skirts of 14 Congresswomen, have made their feelings known regarding King Abdullah and the Kingdom prohibiting women from operating automobiles.

Led by the loudmouth from California, Barbara Boxer, the Congress women proclaimed; "The prohibition of women driving motor vehicles, even in cases of emergency, makes it impossible for citizens to exercise a basic human right." Further, the correspondence to King Abdullah, by the gang of fourteen, went on to say "We strongly urge you to reconsider this ban and take an important step toward affording Saudi women the rights they deserve."

Interesting. Now driving is considered a right by these busy bodies. Seems they trumpet a different horn when they are meddling in another sovereign state's affairs. These same know-it-alls tell the citizens of the U.S. that driving/operating a motor vehicle is a privilege - NOT a right.

Sharky&Sharky feel they should keep their collective mouths shut when it comes to other countries religious beliefs. Freedom of religion is a right and the ban stems from restrictions interpreted from the Wahhabi traditions of Sunni Islam.

Maybe the Saudis know something the rest of the world does not.

The following occurred in Monte Carlo yesterday when three (dumb?) blondes were attempting to operate a very manly Bentley Azure ($363,000 worth of manly). They managed to crash into a: Mercedes Benz S-Class, Ferrari F430, Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche 911.

Amy....Whatcha Gonna Do

The talented and troubled Amy Winehouse was found unresponsive in her home in north London over the weekend. People are found in this condition daily. So what makes Amy different?

The old "Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll" mantra, popularized in the late '60's and '70's, has claimed another potential musical wonder. Sad.

Ms. Winehouse possessed a unique style which combined elements of Jazz, Soul and R&B and belted out her vocals with a sultry contralto voice. Her artistry was as obvious as it was fascinating, no doubt somewhat enhanced by her private life off the stage. She won five Grammys in a single night for her 2006 album Back to Black including: Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

In 2007 she won Best British Female Artist and was nominated for Best British Album.

Amy had talent in Spades - maybe too much talent. Shooting stars burn out and explode. Some sooner than others.

GIrls cannot sell Lemonade...GFB

This story is so fucking stupid that Sharky&Sharky just lifted it from the AP verbatim: Police in Georgia shut down girls lemonade stand:  

Police in Midway Georgia have shut down a lemonade stand run by three girls trying to save up for a trip to a water park, saying they didn't have a business license or the required permits.  Midway Police Chief Kelly Morningstar says police also didn't know how the lemonade was made, who made it or what was in it. The girls had been operating for one day when Morningstar and another officer cruised by. The girls needed a business license, peddler's permit and food permit to operate, even on residential property. The permits cost $50 a day or $180 per year. One girl, 14-year-old Casity Dixon, says the three had to listen to police and shut down. The girls are now doing chores and yard work to make money.

Of course we all know how many people have died of neighborhood lemonade poisoning. Thus Chief Morningstar is just protecting the people of Midway, Georgia. The WSJ has the video from FOX

If the girls were illegals, Sharky&Sharky do believe that they would be still selling lemonade (with no idea of what is in it) under some unchallenged illegal's rights privilege. Where are the Righteous Reverends, Jackson and Sharpton to megaphone/speak up for the girls rights? Where are the white reverends who will speak up for the girls' right to capitalism?

Cassity and the rest of girls do you hear the same silence that the Sharky&Sharky hear? Guess there is no one that will speak up for you. Sharky&Sharky say this to you...Remember this sell out of your rights. Remember this excess of regulatory compliance. When you grow up what will you do...remove this excess of regulatory compliance? Heavens No! Do like the big boys and girls do. Payoff the officials and regulators so that they will figure a way for you to be compliant no matter what the law and moral decency affirm.

The Eyes Of Texas Are Upon You

Sharky&Sharky hate to belabor example after example of the total collapse of the public education system in the U.S., but feel we must continue to report the more egregious examples of the sham that passes for our government's supposed concern for our "children's future."

Texas' Council of State Government's Justice Center (can ANYBODY explain why this country needs crap like this?) has now admitted that the "Zero Tolerance" policy concerning the expulsion and suspension of students for the least infraction has been an abject failure. It has simply produced a generation of expelled/chronically suspended students.

Students have been expelled for, among other things, bringing aspirin to school. The result of "zero tolerance" has produced the following:

60% of Texas high school students have been expelled at least once

15% have been kicked out of class eleven or more times

83% of black students have been expelled at least once

The overwhelming majority of these disciplinary actions were for non-violent offenses and taken by school "administrators" - not the police. (Sharky&Sharky think that maybe an "I" was left out of administrators)

What can be gleaned from this nonsense?

Texas' Public School Police Force (are you kidding us?) has grown out of control and disproportionately with respect to student population - even when the number of teachers, coaches and other educational positions have been declining.

Fascism is just around the corner.

Chitty Chitty Talibang, Bang

Kabul, Obamastan

Today, Ahmed Wali Karzai was gunned down by one of his own security members who had been guarding the half-brother of President Hamid Karzai for the past eight years. The gunman, Sadar Mohammad, led Karzai into an adjoining room away from other members of the Provincial Council and proceeded to shoot him dead. Mr. Mohammad was then shot dead by other guards in the employ of Ahmed Karzai.

Not surprisingly, the Taliban immediately claimed responsibility for the shooting. Hard to interrogate a dead assassin.

The commander of U.S. and Nato forces in Afghanistan, Gen. David Petraeus, in his most generally fashion, offered his condolences and said the ISAF would help Afghanistan "bring justice" to those responsible for the killing. Sharky&Sharky thought the U.S. was already doing just that to the tune of a cool ~$2.5 Billion per week. Oh well, another couple a million bucks a week couldn't/won't be missed.

It is interesting to note that Mr. Ahmed Karzai, according to numerous sources and substantiated by cables made public last year by Wikileaks, is believed to be a major drug dealer. One U.S. diplomat went so far as to say Karzai "is widely understood to be corrupt and a narcotics trafficker." The same diplomat went on to say that dealing with people like Mohammad Karzai is a major challenge as fighting corruption and building support is difficult when the people you are dealing with are corrupt themselves. Sounds a lot like conditions in the U.S.

Let's hope Gen. Petraeus' concern for justice is not due to the money which flows through places like Afghanistan and funds secret government programs both foreign and - wait for it - domestic.

No Teacher/Adminstrator Left Behind

One of the many lost "wars" America has fought is the war on stupidity. From the highest reaches of the country - 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue - to the lowest - almost any public school system - America has not only lost the war but is paying reparations to the entire world for it's misguided folly.

Once, the U.S. was considered and rightfully so, the  preeminent global leader in the education of it's future generations. Somewhere the train derailed when it became known that public eduction could be used as a tool to gain and retain political power. Once this discovery was made, the goal no longer was to educate but to obfuscate and dissimulate what paraded as public education. This publicly accepted affront was accomplished through, among other things: iron clad teacher and administrator collective bargaining (union) deals, slick politician's sales jobs and the assurances by elected officials that all children, regardless of intellectual capability, would happily receive and respond to revised educational techniques.

No longer were reading and writing and arithmetic taught to the tune of a hickory stick - they weren't, for the most part, taught at all.

This "new approach" to eduction was embraced, by in large, by the voting public for many years. As long as the U.S. economic engine continued to chug along and keep America in front of the rapidly increasing economic gains of foreign countries - everything was fine and dandy. It seemed our children were positively responding to the latest educational changes. Just look at the newly accepted test score results. SAT testing, considered racist by many, was no longer a "true" measure of a child's public education. Replaced by new tests, which more accurately determined and showcased the efforts of teachers everywhere.

Recently, it became known that public school teachers and administrators in Georgia, specifically Atlanta, engaged in and admitted to what is being called "educational cheating." The equivalent of child abuse of the highest degree. The extent of these series of crimes is not completely known at this time. What is known, is that the scope of these crimes and the conspiracy that they represent are huge.

Once again this country has been cheated by the very same people we elect to lead. However this time, the theft is the theft of the future for those children affected. They have not been "left behind." They never mattered in the first place.

Gamers talk a good game, but they are Jive...

On July 1, 2011, On the Media ran an encore broadcast on Gaming.   The referenced site has three stories about gaming and the future of gaming.

Here is the transcript of a portion of the show. The transcript does not contain Dr. Schell's comments on the world of Facebook and the enormous size of Facebook. Please note those comment in the video of Dr. Schell about the future:

The last speaker is Ms Jane McGonigal she introduces two head shapers:

1. Right now we spend three billion hours a week playing online games.
2. The average young person today in a country with a strong gamer culture will have spent 10,000 hours playing online games by the age of 21. For children in the United States, 10,080 hours is the exact amount of time you will spend in school from fifth grade to high school graduation, if you have perfect attendance.

Ms McGonigal asserts that she is going to make it as easy to save the world in real life as it is in an online game. To approach this feat what does she do? You go it! Create a massive on line game or games:

But in our game, instead of just having five people on the dream team, we said everybody is on the dream team, and it's your job to invent the future of energy, the future of food, the future of health, the future of security and the future of the social safety net. We had 8,000 people play that game for eight weeks. They came up with 500 insanely creative solutions that you can go online if you Google "Superstruct" and see it. 

Ms McGonal's presentation:

Well there is a bad hitch. At "www.superstruct.com" there is bupkiss; at the "archive.superstructgame.net" there is more bupkiss. What a piece of work! There is no back up, no alternative site, nothing. The work of 8000 people over 8 weeks. Gone! This is like Barry's, the Head Gamer in Total and Complete Charge, stimulus plan's money...just gone. It too could have saved the world or at least the US. I guess gamers are as jive as Barry. When it comes to bombing Libya or anything else both of their work is superb. However when it comes to being useful gamers and Barry got no game.

However, Sharky&Sharky searched high and low and found the remaining ruins of  Superstruct, the first 22 names of the Superstruct and Authors. Maybe some great scholar can use this as a "Rosetta Stone" in the future.

What Price Freedom? That's Right $1

A plain clothes off duty Seattle policeman, Jonathan Chin, took it upon himself to follow and stop a vehicle which "cut him off in traffic" and get this - ran a red light, has had his legal bills paid for by the citizens of Seattle - to the tune of $331,000 and counting.

Why was this good Samaritan sued? Because this "authority" detained the three men at gunpoint until further backup arrived. As one of the backup patrol cars sped down the street where the men were being held, Andrew Rutherford jumped out of the way to avoid being hit by the patrol car. Big mistake Andy.

Andy was tackled, subdued and restrained by the now five "officers" suffering $3,500 in emergency room medical bills for what the city claimed was a slight head abrasion. Mr. Rutherford sued the city for $3 Million. It was determined during the legal proceedings that Mr. Rutherford's rights were in fact violated and all criminal charges were dismissed. He was simply a passenger in the car.

Of course the "officers" were cleared and it was determined that Chin was within his rights to detain Rutherford, but the length of time Rutherford was detained was excessive - therefore violating his rights.

What makes this even more interesting is that the jury was instructed that if they determined Rutherford's rights were violated that they may only award nominal punitive damages not to exceed $1.

Now the law firms and lawyers who successfully represented Mr. Rutherford are seeking compensation from the city for their efforts - to the possible tune of $400,000. That's right. No matter who wins or looses the lawyers always win!

The American justice system is broken - perhaps beyond repair.

Maryland - Let The Babies Burn

In an ever increasing attempt to criminalize as many Americans as possible, last Friday Maryland has ordered summer camp operators and their employees to immediately cease applying sunscreen to children attending summer camp. The result of guidelines issued June 10th.

Assistant Health Director for environmental health and food protection - WTF - (why are taxpayers paying for this kind of crap), Clifford C. Mitchell, said "It's really to walk a fine line between protecting kids' skin and making sure they feel personally safe." Ah yes, the old "keeping the children safe" argument.

Sharky&Sharky think it is time to put all children in plastic balls, like hamsters, so that they are not touched in any way.

All across Maryland, parents are receiving permission forms that must be filled out, signed and properly filed permitting sunscreen to be used by their children, the type of sunscreen, who can and cannot apply it and how it can and cannot be applied. How's that for "red tape" to keep your precious snowflake safe?

Counselors touching children in the application of sunscreen without parental permission could be found guilty of pedophilia and suffer the "legal" consequences.

Makes one wonder how long it will be before making eye-to-eye contact with a minor will be considered guilt of pedophilia?
