GFB...Socialist Thinking Blames YOU

You may have missed this, but you need to accept the blame for the deaths of 6000 Haitians adn the number is rising. There is now conclusive scientific proof that the Nepalese Army brought Cholera to Haiti. This is according to Science Magazine. Now you say what is the Napalese Army doing in Haiti while our US Army is in Afganistan. However you are thinking and the world does not want you to think as this post hopes to demonstrate. They were there.

It seems that the Napelese Army specializes in peace keeping: http://www.nepalarmy.mil.np/na_un.php

Let Sharky&Sharky break it down for you brother. The poorest nation on earth with or without a  bailout plan is Haiti.  As the Science article first paragraph indicates scientific/genetic methodologies have conclusively determined that the Nelapese Army when it visited Haiti to keep the peace brought cholera with it. Sharky&Sharky have no idea of what was going on in Haiti that would have 6000 people die or be killed but nevertheless peacekeepers were needed.

Those who want a more definitive analysis of the eitology of cholera can go here:  Epilogue of the Origin of the Cholera in Haiti. Prior to the genetic evidence this UCLA article stated:
It is near certain that some of the Nepalese troops being sent to Haiti were infected with cholera, either at the time of their medical examination or during the 10 days of home-leave that followed, and then carried the microbe to Haiti to be circulated via contaminated feces.
Haiti get less than "D" rating when it comes to sanitation as this picture confirms.

There is plenty of discussion about why the troops were not tested. However the net of the Science Article is:
Piarroux [On the ground French researcher] says the study perfectly complements his own shoe-leather work in Haiti last year. "I am very impressed that the Nepalese scientists agreed to help the truth become known," Piarroux says. "That was very courageous. I'm sure that not everybody in Nepal will be happy." Keim says the Nepalese group knew and trusted the Danish scientists; they were well aware from the outset that the outcome might finger the peacekeepers, he says, and agreed to have the results published.

The study should have a practical upshot, Piarroux says. Now that there's evidence beyond a reasonable doubt, the United Nations should accept responsibility and make amends to Haiti, he says—for instance, by offering financial compensation or by supporting an all-out effort to make the country cholera-free again. "More than 6000 people are dead," Piarroux says. "It's our fault, as the people of the world."
OK Brothers and Sisters, it is time for you to pony up. Compensation must be paid by everyone to Haiti. You are saying "I had nothing to do with anything". "What about the Napelese officials and their doctors?" No Brother everyone is to blame for everything and anything bad that happens to someone else. Stop you whining.

The Haitian Debacle

To live in tents and die in tents, this is the intent for all the money you spent to aid Haiti
A MILLION people still live in cities like this - Click to Enlarge

A long year after the earthquake that devastated the Haitian capital of Port-Au-Prince, disturbing information has come to light. Of the 200 "aid" groups who collected vast sums of U.S. dollars under the benign guise of providing necessary capital to rebuild Haiti, when queried as to where those dollars ended up only 38 responded with any information. These 38 aid groups, alone, raised ~$1.4 Billion and have so far spent $700 Million. ON WHAT? Who knows how much money the other 162 aid groups raised who refused to respond.

The Global Red Cross for instance, has constructed somewhere around 300 "temporary semi-permanent" housing structures (resembling garden sheds) with some of the 500 Million they alone raised. At approximately $1.5 Million per garden shed, that's a hell of a deal. Of course much more money is needed to continue this magnificent effort as guesstimates put the number of "sheds" needed at 30,000. At this rate, to construct all the sheds needed - whose life expectancy is 10 years - would take 100 years. Does anyone see a problem with this math? Certainly the Red Cross has provided other assistance, but the above example shows just how corrupt these kind of "relief" efforts turn out to be.

And of course the Haitian government itself, like any other "Western" government, only wants the best for it's people. That's why they demand a 40% up front tax on all goods entering the country even if they are relief assistance goods. So trucks that were paid for by donations sit idle near the Port-Au-Prince airport because no one has greased the palms of "government officials" demanding cash. See what happens when only the government and organized crime have guns?

The next time someone pleads for you to open your heart wallet to help someone or some people in critical need, remember they are most likely only trying to make themselves even more wealthy at the expense of the needy while making you feel like dirt.

A Love Haiti Relationship

Now that the planet knows what it is going to take to rebuild one of the most backward and corrupt counties in the world, it has come time to "think outside of the box."

According to the acting head of the UN mission in Haiti, Mr. Edmund Mulet, reconstruction will take several decades and is starting at "less than zero."  I'm not sure what is meant by this statement - perhaps starting at the amoeba level?

What are they planning on reconstructing, fifty story high rises and four lane highways?  Perhaps championship golf courses and amusement parks with state of the art roller coasters or casinos.  Who knows.  But the U.S. has already raised $500 million in private donations and with that tidy sum a win-win-win plan can come together quickly and benefit all parties involved.

As previously noted in this space, the U.S. has a tremendous illegal immigration resource just waiting to be utilized - approximately 12 million Mexicans.  How 'bout rounding up a few mil (although these sneaky bastards are becoming harder and harder to find due to their illegal/legal documentation) and sending them on down to Haiti.  We know how hard they work and a bonus is they now have quite a bit of construction knowledge garnered in the U.S.  We solve a problem, they solve a problem and Haiti no longer has a problem.

Win-win-win.
