Yes, Folks he's here, our own Uncle Joe Stalin, he has been run out of Europe. But he is here in the US for all to see in Bedford, Virginia at the National D-Day Memorial. His bust accompanies statues of Churchill and Roosevelt. Fact: Russians did not participate in landing at Normandy. Fact: at the low end Stalin is responsible for the deaths of 20 million of his own people. (high end estimates are 50 million)
The Dr. Lee Edwards, chairman of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, said that he and others thought that the bust of Stalin was a joke when they first heard about it. Ha Ha the jokes on the Victims. Here is Dr. Edwards more formal statement opposing the Stalin bust.
Accompanying the statue is a plaque which reads: "In memory of the tens of millions who died under Stalin's rule and in tribute to all whose valor, fidelity, and sacrifice denied him and his successors victory in the cold war."
