Greece Is A Slippery Slope
Who doesn't enjoy a good olive with their martini? Some of the best are grown in that socialist communist utopia called Greece. But they are only grown when the olive farmers are not on break, vacation or sick leave - which is most of the time.
The International Monetary Fund folks have run out of patience and have demanded that no more martinis, or Ouzo for that matter, be consumed by Greeks until austerity measures are instituted. Well that's enough too piss off a drunken sailor. Greece claims it will not be able to continue to function past mid-November, in a drunken or sober state, unless the IMF forks over another $11 Billion "installment."
In an effort to stem the entitlement tide, Greece is set to put 30,000 public servants (parasites) on reduced pay. This responsible attempt to stem the red ink has been met with violent protests in Athens in which at least one person has died.
