To Vima, one of Greece's most respected newspapers, has reported that the nation's health insurance provider - IKA - will no longer pay for specialized footwear for diabetics stating: "amputation is just cheaper." And, as the U.S. follows Greece down the national debt rathole, these cuts may soon be appearing in a community near you.
