After the initial bout of iPhone mania, it has been revealed the new version of the "Jesus Phone" cannot be recommended by Consumer Reports.
If held in the left hand, the "magical and revolutionary" antenna design is essentially shorted out - resulting in signal attenuation until the call is dropped. When the arrogant CEO of Apple was initially questioned about this grievous design flaw, his response was essentially "hold it in the other hand."
This has caused quite a stir in Appleland and has brought the wrath of the censors. Apple is now, and has been, deleting mention of this design failure on it's support forums and anywhere else they can get away with it.
Looking at recent product offerings from Apple, one sees a continuing downward spiral not only in design, but in quality control and assurance. The recent iMacs were plagued with yellow and flickering screens, time capsules (responsible for data backup failed for no reason), OS X 10.6 and above was so buggy it bricked computers on which it was installed and now the new iPhone.
Makes you wonder who is buying all these rotten Apples and why?
