Our “Dear Leader” has issued another claxon call to be heard all across this once great land and into the nether regions of space.
“Reach out to the Muslim world...to help them feel good (SharkyandSharky love it when people feel good) about their historic contributions to science and math and engineering” Mr Obama instructed.
Such are the marching orders of Charles Bolden the NASA Administrator (Adminstraitor?) who, during a recent interview, said that his “foremost” mission, as the head of America’s space exploration agency, is to improve relations with the Muslim world. Citing the ISS as an example of multi-national cooperation, Bolden noted contributions from the Russians and the Chinese. Muslim contributions were not mentioned - I wonder why? BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE!
After ramrodding the cancellation of the Constellation program, comprised of the Ares rockets and the Orion crew capsule, which together were to replace the Space Shuttle, he went on to say that the United States is not going to travel beyond low-Earth orbit on its own.
In an interview with Al Jazeera recently (June '10), Bolden described space travel as an international collaboration of which Muslim nations must be a part.
Mr. Bolden, Muslim nations want to destroy the U.S. and kill all of the people who live here who are not Muslim. Celebrations in the streets of the world after 9/11 are all that should be needed to refresh your memory Mr. Bolden. Speaking of 9/11, the Obama administration is allowing a Mosque be built on the site where the twin towers once stood as a memorial to celebrate that great occasion. Oh wait - are you a Muslim Mr. Bolden?
