Still On Hold?

A vitally important government worker for the bankrupt state of California was found dead at her desk last Saturday, Feb. 12th. Probably happens all the time. What doesn't happen all the time is that no one noticed she was dead until a day later.


Rebecca Wells, of the L.A. County Department of Internal Services - the risk management section no less, was found Saturday slumped over her desk by co-worker Hattie Robertson when she came in to the office to do "a little work."

The last time someone had seen Ms. Wells metabolizing oxygen was Friday at 9:00 a.m.

Foul play is not suspected but detectives Webb and Gannon are on the case.
