☞ In 2008, the city of Washington, D.C. dismissed 75 "teachers" for incompetence - you wonder how/why they were hired in the first place. ALL were later reinstated by an arbitrator.
☞ The city of Los Angeles spent $3.5 Million tax payer dollars to fire SIX teachers for poor performance.
☞ The city of New York has identified literally hundreds of teachers deemed too inept to teach; yet are continuing to collect full salaries and benefits.
Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers has a plan. ..."A teacher deemed 'unsatisfactory' would be required to submit to an improvement plan." How cute Randi. Under Randi's plan, this "improvement" could take up to a year. And then, "If administrators and peer experts thought the teacher had not improved, they would refer it to an arbitrator who would decide within 100 days to keep (are you freakin' kidding us Randi) or dismiss the teacher."
The above is considered a "major" concession by this group of thugs that are "keeping the children safe", and is a proposal to make it "EASIER?" to fire teachers who are not making the grade.
Sharky&Sharky are sure that Walmart, Microsoft, Exxon, Apple and all other businesses have to wait 15 MONTHS to terminate an employee.
