You WILL Be Scanned And You WILL Like It

Our rapidly advancing Orwellian society knows no bounds. If you have nothing to hide...Blah, Blah, F'in Blah.

Well folks, if the oh so concerned people at DHS have their way, you will say goodbye to the Fourth Amendment. As a refresher for those out of school for a few years:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Guess what? Scanners - those back scatter see-you-in-the-nude scanners found in every jerk water airport - are being proposed for installation in: train stations, public venues (think sporting events, concerts and the like), on busy streets and everywhere else they can be placed to insure that those who manufacture them become filthy rich at your expense. Oh, and by the way - they are necessary to keep you safe. Doesn't that just make you all warm and fuzzy inside.

For those who do not like the fact that these scanners bombard you with high and dangerous levels of radiation, TOO BAD. You WILL comply citizen. This is the "price" for your freedom. What has happened to the United States in just ONE decade?
